What were the customers concerns? Go Motors, our customer is located on Arapahoe Avenue in Boulder Colorado. This just happens to be one of the busiest streets in Boulder with traffic counts between 19K and 26K a day driving by. Our customer wanted to be able to take advantage of his prominent location next to the road to draw customer inside his dealership. Go Motors sells previously owned European Branded cars of various makes. His store has a look of a higher end private dealership and he wanted to get a sign that would support his image of a high end dealership, without breaking the bank. We suggested going full color instead of Red or Amber.

There were numerous red LED Displays on Arapaphoe and we wanted to set him apart from them.Why go Full Color? There are many reasons to make the move to a full color display if you can afford it. The first is the cost only around 20% more that going with a Monochrome LED display sign. Full color Watchfire LED displays allow you to be able to put full color images on the display as well as video. Now, of course you can do the same thing with Monochrome, but the look is very different. Second, the full color display is a way to set yourself apart from the competition. Many institutions are now using Monochrome as a inexpensive way to get their message out, but the message can lose it's effectiveness when there are too many displays around you. Potential customers can lose interest when driving by every day looking at the same red letters. Third, full color allows you to convey a more dynamic message with video or images. People will want to look to see whats on it every day, creating more opportunity to get your important message out to your customers. 

 

Go Motors had two primary lines of business. Car sales and their service department. Automotive service departments are a profitable business for most automotive dealerships. Using the sign to promote that business was very important to Go Motors. In combination with promotional text and images of popular models, Go Motors was able to use their LED Sign from Supersign to get more of those service customers in the door.
