The Signdealz Difference in Electrical Signs

Games Ahoy came to Signdealz.com for an custom channel letter set for their new business. The first thing Signdealz, a Fort Collins Sign Company, does is do a sign code review. This is the process where we review existing city sign code in Fort Collins and the sign program from the shopping center. The sign program is a document that tells new tenants what type of signs that are allowed and is often controlled by the property owner or property manager. More often than not, channel letters are the required signage in most modern community based shopping centers in the United States. The ultimate goal of the code review is to determine how many signs and how large those signs can be. Without this information, we could design something the customer could not have. This process must be followed for every sign requiring a permit. Once this process is finished and we have the information, we move on to the design review.

DESIGN REVIEW IN FORT COLLINS

Design review is a process we use that integrates the code review information, customer requirements, sign specifications, and the customers budget, into a cohesive design. It's not a simple process. The client may be able to have a very large sign, but not have the budget for it. This requires us to create a design that meets all of the customers requirements. Often combining different features into the sign. This may include a formal logo into the design. Designs can go through numerous revisions and this process can go from days to weeks, depending upon the complexity of the project. Simple designs most often take between 1 and 5 revisions. Once the design is done, it is sent to the landlord or property manager for review.

Signdealz has developed a streamlined process that integrates various technical reviews, ensuring that the project stays on schedule, while making sure the end product meets our high level of quality standards. Once the sign is through fabrication, we send out photo's of the end product so our customers know that the sign meets their requirements. We only ship the signs once the customer has approved of the final product. This ensures that if anything is missed or might be an issue, it is addressed in the shop prior to installation.

Signs as Advertising

We want our customers to understand that when your purchasing a sign, it's not some object hanging on the wall, it's the most powerful and cost effective form of advertising you can buy. Your sign is no different that your homepage, and if properly designed and positioned correctly to maximize it's affect, it can produce hundreds of thousands of dollars of revenue for your retail or service business. Remember, you only buy the sign once, so maximize every dollar by getting your sign as large as possible!

We designed Games Ahoy a lighted LED channel letter set with a back 1/8" Aluminum plate in the shape of a controller based off of their logo. It included a lighted text capsule and lighted controller buttons. The sign was clearly visible after being installed onto the front of the building. The end result looked great!

Signdealz.com specializes in all types of electrical signage. This includes Channel Letters, Lighted Cabinet Signs, LED Displays, Monument Signs, and much more! Signdealz.com can handle every aspect of sign production, from conceptual design, to fabrication and installation. We also service and repair existing signs, nation-wide!
