Construction Account Manager

SUMMARY
Maintain and grow the business in with construction firms in Colorado and Texas. Build relationships with current and potential clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Primary client manager for client services, related to commercial illuminated, ADA, and architectural signage.
  • Obtain new and updated information from client’s bidding portals, related to current and upcoming construction projects.
  • Maintain existing client relationships through regular face to face meetings, phone calls and emails.
  • Communicate new project and current project updates to Signdealz management.
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate client needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of clients and all services provided.
  • Consult with your clients and help to meet their future needs for all services Signdealz Corporation can provide.
  • Grow the business with both new clients and additional services to existing clients.
  • Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.
  • Know pricing for market and have ability to craft proposals.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS
  • B. S. or B. A degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 year of customer service or sales experience, 5+ years preferred
  • Basic Computer Knowledge
  • Knowledge of the Sign Industry a big plus
  • Salesforce Knowledge
  • Excellent Communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Construction/field experience is a plus

SUMMARY
As a Project Strategist, you will be the bridge between sales, estimating, and the design department. You will be working with salespeople, collecting requirements, and offering strategies to value engineer projects and build value through consultative approaches. You will translate the scope of the project into functional design requirements that then get delivered to the design department.
 
Qualified candidates should possess the following skills, education, and experience:
  • 5 to 10 years of sign fabrication experience working in a full-service sign company as a fabricator, shop manager, or owner
  • Above-average computer and software skills 
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tool, and principals involved in the production of technical plans and sign drawings
  • Skill in the use of Microsoft Office programs and Salesforce
  • Understanding of on-premise advertising and advertising concepts
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with all levels of colleagues and clients
  • Sales knowledge a plus
  • Highly organized
  • Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking

For those new to the industry we offer 1 month of on the job training and mentoring with a base for the training period, and for the experts out there you will get 1 month of training our sales process and technology with the same base while you build your book.
  • Earning Potential: Opportunity to earn $100K+, no cap on compensation. We pay all consultants 25% of the net profit of all sales transactions. The industry average is 10% of gross. You control how much you make with no limits. We also offer a 3% Match on your 401K and health insurance with $100 in HSA contribution per month with matching. Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Taking the initiative to understand the Signdealz offerings and pricing
  • Selling electric and outdoor digital signage solutions into Small and Medium Sized Businesses as well as large corporate accounts in your community.
  • Acquire new customers through direct sales techniques, cold calling and business-to-business marketing visits
  • Managing up to 30 to 40 opportunities effectively
  • Researching prospects and understanding competitor strengths and weaknesses.
  • Embracing and executing our process, which includes effective opportunity management through CRM software
  • Perform on site demonstrations using the Signdealz sales demonstration vehicle.

Education, Experience or Required Skills:

  • Proven ability to close opportunities greater than $50k.
  • Formal sales methodology & training experience a plus (Miller Heiman, Strategic, Spin, Relationship, Action Selling, Dale Carnegie, Black Belt Selling, Solution Selling, Sandler Sales, etc.)
  • Consistently leads his/her peers by example, by embodying the capabilities, motivation and drive to succeed of a top performer
  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective selling strategies for enterprise customers.
  • Articulate; strong, polished verbal and written communication skills for corresponding with Executive-level prospects and business owners.
  • Organized and self-sufficient; proven to set goals and achieve them, self-motivated, and lead others via example.
  • Able to work effectively with other team members (sales engineers, lead gen team, management, services) to provide the best experience for the customer and the highest likelihood of successfully closing and implementing the deal.
  • Organized and self sufficient.
  • Willingness and initiative to learn and contribute to the team’s professional development.
  • Polished/professional presence for face-to-face meetings or trade shows.
  • 3 to 5 or more years proven sales experience, Electric Sign experience a Plus
  • Experience using various web-based CRM platforms
