PMO Manager

Signdealz Corporation’s mission is consistently delivering high-quality signs and reasonable prices while providing world-class customer service. You will be an integral part in the establishment of a Project Management Office (PMO) at Signdealz, to deliver the highest level of customer service possible. Your establishment of the PMO will progress over time, and we will plan to develop a world-class project management team composed of the most talented project managers available. The project management team is the core function of Signdealz, and properly managing it will require significant time to get it right. 

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in Signage Or related Construction Industry, including strong background of PMO and program/portfolio management experience.
  • Familiar with earned value measurement techniques, PMI principles, and a commanding knowledge of Salesforce, including Taskray
  • Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s/Master Degree in related field with strong project management knowledge or Education
  • PMP certification is mandatory. Program/Portfolio management certification are preferPMO Manager/Director of PM Operations

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Help Signdealz to build strong PMO and lead the PMO department of the organization
  • Responsible for Monitoring and Control of Execution and Performance of all Signdealz programs/projects
  • Implement PMI Project Management standards and documentation of those standards and processes 
  • Ensure active PMI project/program management principals are in place to drive and empower all project team members to success
  • Utilize the TaskRay application and associated PMO Dashboard to ensure standards are met and progress is communicated to senior management
  • Establish weekly PM progress meetings in order to determine the performance of individual project managers compared to the standards and practices at Signdealz
  • Establish a project audit guide that will be used during the weekly meetings to determine the performance of the project to the established customer expectation
  • Develop a PM training lesson plan. The PM training plan should be specific to the experience and position of the project management position. The training plan should include resources, department level SOP’s, videos, and written processes, training on TaskRay
  • Create a PM Onboarding Process for new project managers in order to create a consistent training experience Responsible for total performance for all assigned programs/projects inclusive of maintaining forecasted margins, schedule adherence, technical compliance, and overall customer satisfaction
  • Will partner closely with the leadership team to communicate strategy and priorities, provide reporting to enable routines and accountability, and influence employees and leaders to achieve business goals
  • Ensures proper risk management is carried out, reported, and mitigated on all relevant programs/Projects
  • Ensures the proper escalation of critical issues which may or are affecting program/project performance to the CEO appropriately ensures proper program/project execution
  • Promotes and reinforces the principle of continuous process improvement with all subordinates and project team members
  • Proactively ensures that strict scope management is carried out for every active program/project
  • Performs other duties as directed to accommodate growth and organizational maturity
  • Must demonstrate composure and effective listening skills with staff and customers and be able to apply "thought leadership" necessary to weed out the key program/project needs
  • Must be comfortable multi-tasking and being able to deliver results under pressure and tight deadlines where extensive planning and forethought are not always an option

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Taking the initiative to understand the Signdealz offerings and pricing
  • Selling electric and outdoor digital signage solutions into Small and Medium Sized Businesses as well as large corporate accounts in your community.
  • Acquire new customers through direct sales techniques, cold calling and business-to-business marketing visits
  • Managing up to 30 to 40 opportunities effectively
  • Researching prospects and understanding competitor strengths and weaknesses.
  • Embracing and executing our process, which includes effective opportunity management through CRM software
  • Perform on site demonstrations using the Signdealz sales demonstration vehicle.

Education, Experience or Required Skills:

  • Proven ability to close opportunities greater than $50k.
  • Formal sales methodology & training experience a plus (Miller Heiman, Strategic, Spin, Relationship, Action Selling, Dale Carnegie, Black Belt Selling, Solution Selling, Sandler Sales, etc.)
  • Consistently leads his/her peers by example, by embodying the capabilities, motivation and drive to succeed of a top performer
  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective selling strategies for enterprise customers.
  • Articulate; strong, polished verbal and written communication skills for corresponding with Executive-level prospects and business owners.
  • Organized and self-sufficient; proven to set goals and achieve them, self-motivated, and lead others via example.
  • Able to work effectively with other team members (sales engineers, lead gen team, management, services) to provide the best experience for the customer and the highest likelihood of successfully closing and implementing the deal.
  • Organized and self sufficient.
  • Willingness and initiative to learn and contribute to the team’s professional development.
  • Polished/professional presence for face-to-face meetings or trade shows.
  • 3 to 5 or more years proven sales experience, Electric Sign experience a Plus
  • Experience using various web-based CRM platforms
