Our random sign of the day for Monday, May 3rd 2010 is the flexible face sign cabinet we did for Best Buy of Broomfield. We installed this sign back in 2000. It is a cabinet sign with a flexible face. This sign is significantly different from most cabinet signs because the face is normally manufactured out of rigid plastic called Plexiglas or acrylic. This sign is designed to wistand the high winds of Colorado. They are expensive to purchase and maintain.

The sign face is made out of a banner like material and the immage is either silk screened or painted on the face. There are very few signs like this in Denver or Boulder. The primary reason is the size of the sign. Most municipalities limmit singage to 50 Square Feet for most wall or free standing signs. This of course will depend on what city you are in and what the specific code requirements are.
