A Few Things To Consider When Purchasing an Electrical Sign There's a lot to consider when purchasing an illuminated sign. Electrical signage can be relatively expensive, so you want to be certain you're getting the most for your dollar. This starts with design: The overall appearance of your sign should convey a sense of professionalism, while still drawing attention to your business. It should compliment the local color scheme, and adhere to existing sign codes enforced by the property management. Your sign should be unique and eye-catching, not an ugly eye-sore!

On average, a cell phone is only used for about 18 months, then put into a drawer or closet, and eventually discarded with the household trash. Phones are also thrown away when they experience minor damage (for example, a cracked screen), but are often still in great working condition. A recent study shows that within 3 years, Americans will discard about 130 million cellular telephones (per year), and that means 65,000 tons of trash, including toxic metals and other health hazards.

LED Lighting is part of our future! It's hard to ignore some of the environmental problems that our planet is facing today. Deforestation, land erosion, and air pollution are rampant. Much of this is caused by our ever-increasing need for energy, and how we obtain it. Oil is mined, drilled, and often spilled. Nuclear energy is efficient, when it's contained, but the byproducts are radioactive, and therefore, have to be stored somewhere. Thermal energy is great, but isn't widely used. Wind and Solar power are advancing, but not quickly enough. Until we get a grip on our energy problems, it's up to each and every one of us to change our lifestyles to pave the way for a greener future.

In today's marketplace, advertising is everything! For a marketing strategy to be effective, it has to be successful in a few key areas:
A few years ago Signdealz.com did a project for Robb's Boulder Music on 30th street in Boulder, Colorado. They came to us needing a Monument Sign, and had an idea of what they wanted it to look like: A piece of large flagstone with engraved letters. Unfortunately, what they wanted would have been lost to the eye of a passing customer, and didn't reflect the business in any way. Luckily, the owners had an open mind. We approached them with an epic idea:
Signdealz.com recently completed a job for Pro Peloton Cyclery in Boulder. The project included a custom fabricated, wrap-around sign cabinet with routed-out letters, backed with translucent acrylic faces. Internal illumination shines through the acrylic elements of the sign, providing a dramatic night-time presence. The final look proved to be unique and eye-catching!
